18 U.S.C. § 2257 compliance statement.

steamadultgames.com (“the Site”) is a curation and discovery service that indexes publicly available metadata — titles, tags, prices, descriptions, and promotional images — for games listed for sale on the Steam digital storefront, operated by Valve Corporation. The Site does not produce, direct, or otherwise participate in the creation of any visual depiction of actual sexually explicit conduct.

All promotional images, header images, and screenshots displayed on the Site are sourced directly from the public Steam Storefront API and are the same publicly available promotional materials that Steam’s publishers have already made available to the public on Steam’s own platform. The Site does not host, store, edit, or modify these images beyond standard technical processing (resizing, caching for performance).

Accordingly, the Site takes the position that it is not a “primary producer” or “secondary producer” as those terms are defined under 18 U.S.C. § 2257 and 28 C.F.R. Part 75, and is therefore exempt from the record-keeping and labeling requirements those regulations impose on producers of sexually explicit visual depictions.

Record-keeping obligations for the underlying content, where applicable, are the responsibility of the original publishers and developers of the games indexed by the Site, and/or of Valve Corporation as the platform on which that content is originally published and made available for sale.

Access to the Site’s game listings is restricted to persons who are at least 18 years of age. Users must confirm they meet this age requirement before viewing any listing content.
